Ryan (and Tori) on Universal Pictures RUclips Channel they have just dropped "Wicked-Official Lego Brickfield Trailer" and it'sactually really amazing,so fun and cute,but they've really tried to brickify the trailer and it actully really works. You should both watvh it if you have the time. I see Lego set tie in/mrechendising in the future....(matt)P.s both of you gave the best reaction to the Trailer hands down

My one gripe is that elphaba s costumes are always just black. It would be nice if there was a contrast or a buildup to her wearing all black. What is she started off wearing her blue... To dark red... Just add a few more before we get to that pointed hat😅

The moment with the pile of yellow bricks looks to me like the cornfield scene, just after the house 'arrives'. I think she's used the bricks to build a makeshift grave marker/cairn type thing.

It would actually be awesome if the developers of the wizard of oz declared wicked as cannon.

Oh lord, why does everythng need to modrnize. It's not like it is Shakespeare. I hope they don;t ruin the Wiz the way Quincy Joens did. The original Wiz was the BEST!

Society really was not ready for the genius of this movie. The studio really screwed up the marketing.

I absolutely loved Leave The World Behind. The acting, the script, the tone.. and tbh it was terrifying.. not horror movie scary.. actual real life scary.. which is scarier then a ghost girl or a killer with a mask. Unfortunately the reality of an attack on our energy grid, a hack of banking systems.. you name it.. we are always closer to that then you think. Its a legit reality and I know that reality bogs down the fun and the smiles but its coming in some form or fashion and the country has never been more primed for it. In the film a character gives a speech about reading the market and looking for signs. Those signs are on the news every single day.. our political divide, the weakening of our government, the instablity of our economy, our inability to make clear military decisions on the growing international wars.. I mean I could go on but we get the point. China, Iran & Russia have been slow walking us into internal collapse through social media and psychological operations for years now and we have never been more ripe for an attack somewhat like what happens in this film. Its just the cold reality of the situation and I dont even have to get into the weeds with it. Long story short I felt the film is a sleeper horror film with more realistic horror then any A24 or Blumhouse release combined.

It's too bad that you aren't one of the two target audiences of Merry Little Batman: Children or Batman enthusiasts. Your comments about the film show a nearly complete lack of understanding of batman history. Your comment "we don't know what happened to mother": Damien's mother was strongly eluded to as Catwoman (Selina Kyle). The cat was named Selina, and batman says "Your mother is complicated" referencing the complicated relationship between the two where Bruce falls for Selina, but her status as criminal interferes with them having a romantic relationship. You are correct that there was a home-alone plot contrivance, but that lasted only for the first act. The rest of the movie was Damien's character arc moving from a selfish kid trying to recapture his prized possession (a bat-belt his father gave him) to understanding that the truly heroic action was to sacrifice the belt in service of thwarting the cadre of villains. The plot and gags are definitely targeting pre-teens, but the easter eggs and nuanced relationships between the classic characters made a childish movie entertaining to my husband and me, both of whom are major batman fans.
